As part of ongoing improvements to the State Kinder Funding tool, we’ve introduced several updates for services delivering the ACT Three-Year-Old Preschool program in 2026.
These changes lay the groundwork for upcoming functionality that will automatically calculate and apply fee relief for 2026 programs. To prepare for this enhancement, the following updates have been released:
Program Delivery Selection
Services are now required to select a 40-week or 50-week Program Delivery model. This ensures that future fee-relief calculations are applied accurately based on the chosen delivery model.
Support for Split Care
We’ve added the ability to manage children in split care arrangements. This allows duplicate child profiles to be consolidated for funding purposes, ensuring more accurate funding calculations and reporting.
Funding Tab Updates in Progress
Enhancements to the Funding tab are currently in development and will be released soon. During this transition period, funding allocation information will not be displayed in the tab.
