Sleep Checks - Resting Status
We’ve made further improvements to Sleep Checks in Playground, based on your feedback.
Resting Status Reinstated:
The ‘Resting’ status is now available again in Playground, making it easier for educators to accurately capture children’s routines.
Visible Across Apps:
Resting status is now displayed in the Home app, providing families with clearer visibility into their child’s day.
Reporting Updated:
Resting has been reintroduced as a status in reports, ensuring consistency and completeness in documentation.
Sleep Times:
To ensure sleep times are displayed correctly in the Home app after the Playground release, guardians must update the Home app to the latest version 2.13.1.
More Accurate Sleep Calculations:
Resting is now treated as an awake state in sleep calculations. Time asleep is only counted while a child is sleeping, even if they spend time resting before becoming fully awake.
