QikKids Release Notes: March 2026

We’re pleased to share several important and exciting updates with you!

These updates make submitting your enrolled children and subsidy claim information to the ACT Government significantly simpler. QikKids now collates your data automatically, allowing you to generate and email the exact reports you need—quickly, accurately, and on demand.

These enhancements make managing Personnel significantly easier, especially for large child care providers with many services, or services that have extensive staff lists and historical records. Users will now be able to find the right people faster, reduce screen clutter, and work more efficiently with less interruption.

ACT Free 3yo Preschool statement corrections
ACT Free 3‑Year‑Old Preschool funding entries on parent statements were previously able to incorrectly increase the recorded days‑attended totals. Statements have now been updated to show this funding accurately without affecting days‑attended figures. Ensuring families receive clear, correct statements and prevents any unintended reporting discrepancies.

Direct Debit declined status
When a Direct Debit payment didn’t go through, in rare circumstances, that status wasn’t previously displayed on parent statements. Now, statements accurately show when a payment has been declined, providing greater clarity and more reliable information every time.

QLD Kindy funding transactions
We’ve enhanced the reliability of receipt cancellations and QLD Kindy funding reallocations. A rare issue affecting these actions has now been resolved, and all transactions complete smoothly as expected.

VIC Arrival submission reports
Service names now display correctly on confirmation reports instead of showing "Unknown"
