Multiple CCS entitlements per fortnight for Free Kindy - previously, Free Kindy calculations used the most recent CCS entitlement that applied in a given CCS fortnight. They can now take into account more than one entitlement within a fortnight, using the entitlement in force for each week. This is enabled for Free Kindy acquittals going forward, and for any Q1 or Q2 2026 acquittals that are recalculated.
Broadening staff discount calculations - QikKids now recalculates a wider range of discount types against the actual CCS amount, including daily gap discounts. Turn them on under Options then Preferences with the new settings Recalculate daily discounts when actual CCS is received and Recalculate all discount types when actual CCS is received. They become the default from the start of the new CCS year on 6 July 2026.
Clearing stuck IS Case Claim cancellations - an IS Case Claim that stayed at Cancellation Required but had already been cancelled now finishes cancelling and stops showing the error.
Clearer NSW Start Strong fee relief messages - if the NSW Kindy Start Strong Fee Relief transaction type is not linked to an account, Confirm and Save now shows a clear message asking your administrator to link it, instead of a blank database error.
Finding accounts across centres - selecting a family active in another centre now opens that account directly, instead of an unrelated screen.
CCS enrolment duplicate checks - resolved a rare scenario where creating a new CCS enrolment for a child could be incorrectly blocked as a duplicate.
Changing a family's main centre - you can now change a family's main centre to any centre you have access to without signing in to multiple centres first (requires the Change Accounts permission).
