Updated CCSS Session Reports API: QikKids will begin using the federal government’s new Session Reports API Version 3 from 13 Jul 2026. This newer API permits submitting more than one discount with the same category per session. Previously the federal government disallowed this with an error: Duplicate Discounts Category for a Session of Care not Permitted.
Additional Options for Staff Discounts with Queensland Kindy: Certain staff discount configurations could interact poorly with Queensland Free Kindy and understate the intended staff discount. For customers where the staff discount is understated (e.g. where a staff discount would be expected but QikKids has calculated $0.00) there is a new preference (“Prefer gross gap when limiting kindy staff discounts”) under Options then Preferences to improve the calculation in these configurations.
Updated CCS / Attendance Summaries on Statements of Entitlement: We've added more detail to Statements of Entitlement. The weekly summary now displays a daily attendance count, and each daily summary now includes the hours attended.
Vic Arrival: For services reporting under the Vic Arrival scheme, the Edit Roll dialog now shows the correct absence reasons for each day, including when it is opened on a day other than Monday or in the second week of a fortnight.
Ending Staff Discounts: In a rare case where a templated discount applied to some but not all of the children on the discount, ending a discount could trigger unnecessary recalculations of earlier sessions. This no longer happens.
