Clearer messages from EdGrants for QLD Kindy Funding
Where an agreement or credentials issued by EdGrants are not yet fully set up at their end, a simulation or submission can be rejected. QikKids can now show the reason returned by EdGrants, such as QG-103: The Kindy Funding Reference number is not recognised or QG-107: The Beneficiary Account number is not recognised. If you see one of these, please contact EdGrants, who can complete the setup of the agreement or credentials at their end.
ACCS certificate submissions
QikKids no longer repeats the same check with the government once for every week the certificate covers, so submitting a certificate takes fewer requests and completes more quickly.Vacation Care rolls - opening a weekly Vacation Care roll with no entries no longer closes QikKids.
Better handling of open payments that do not clear
QikKids has been updated to better handle a rare case where open payments do not become clear payments. Where this happens, QikKids can now reconcile the week during a CCSS Operations run, so the subsidy recorded matches the payment received. A new Open payment epoch date under Options then Preferences sets how far back QikKids will look, starting from the 2026-27 CCS year.
Smaller Fixes
On the Edit Week dialog, the AM and PM selector on the sign in, sign out and time fields is no longer clipped. We have also fixed a rare issue where the Add Personnel window could open behind the main QikKids window.
